Children Activities

 SUNDAY SCHOOL

Our children's programme (for 3-11 year olds) includes regular SUNDAY SCHOOL classes held during term time at our 9:30am Family Eucharist. We are very happy for children to present in the Church Service and are comfortable with the noise and activity particularly of children. Withing the sunday school programme we allow for fun activities and learning in a safe environment. Everyweek we provide different readings and activities for the children to do.

Throughout the year various FAMILY & CHILDREN FESTIVITIES are held - Family Movie Night; Alternative to Halloween Party; Christingle Family Service and more. Please check out the current calendar in our parish magazine PETER TALK to discover what's on

KBS - Junior Youth Group

The Youth (12 year olds to Uni students) gather fortnightly on a Friday Night engaging in a wide range of activities such as ice skating, movies, shared meals, sports nights, Diocesan Youth Nights and Mixed Youth Group Events. The Group is involved with Sunday Youth-Led Services throughout the year and Parish Fundraising Events.

YES - Senior Youth Group

Mainly Music

Every Tuesday morning at 10 o'cock,  during term time, young children arrive with their parent or grandparent or care-giver for a fun time of music and movement. Led by an enthusiastic team of volunteers, the children and adults are encouraged through a half hour of song, dance, musical instruments and puppet props to interact with each other. There are some old favourites and there are some new songs to learn.

Following this, the children are given a healthy morning tea and then let loose in the toy cupboard while the adults enjoy a cuppa and some delicious home baking. This is a time for the children to learn social interaction and for the grown ups to network with each other and develop new friendships.

SPACE - Supporting Parents Alongside Children's Education

Every Thursday afternoon during term-time from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, first time mothers and their babies meet as a group with trained facilitators to learn and share all the questions about raising children in today's world.
